Those were the days we lived in a bubble,
And loved it because we got unconditional love and cuddles;
Coming out of the bubble was inevitable,
A time in life that was filled with excitement and hustle;
Riding high on energy and self-esteem,
Flying away to achieve our dreams;
After all is achieved and enjoyed,
A time comes when we want to go back to that bubble to simply rest and rejoice;
Life comes a full circle when we realize,
The people who created that bubble have moved on,
Passing the baton on to us to lead on;
Seasons change, reasons change,
But what we hold dear and cherish remains;
And that is perhaps why old is considered gold,
And that is perhaps why bubbles are still a sight to behold.
